Ascent to the venetian castle
Trail 1 in Bochali is a short and easy family hike. The walk starts from the church of Agios Georgios Filiki and ends at the gate of the large venetian fortress dominating Zakynthos town.
The walk is suitable for children of all ages.
The length of the trail is 631 m. The total elevation gain is just 90m. Therefore, at a normal pace, a group of hikers or a family will put less than half hour to reach the destination.
